Help!! problems with my 95 ls

So i was driving to the bank today around 2 , in my 1995 acurca integra and i left my house and my car was fine and normal and i almost made it to the bank.I get to a red light and start off in 1st then 2nd and then when i put it in 3rd ( i cant remember if it was when i pushed the clutch in or let it out) But the car died while i was going about 25-30 mph. At first i thought it was my clutch but then i was like well the clutch wouldnt cause the car to stall unless i was stopped and the clutch felt fine.I didnt even know the engine was off for a second or two i looked @ my gauges and they were at 0 and i had no power.So i push the car off the road and into a parking lot.I waited a good ten minutes then tryed to start it and it almost did but wouldnt.Then i repeted this about 5-6 more times and it wouldnt start. All my fluids were fine and i had 3/4 tank of gas.I have full power and everything in my car.

The only thing i can think of is the fuel pump. Because the engine shut off while going about 30 mph all the sudden like the fuel was just cut off.Idk what happend or what else it could be, ive never had a car shut off on me while i was driving it before.Does anyone have any idea what happend , has this ever happend to anyone else on here or anything similar. Any help would be greatly appreciated

get in your can and turn the key to the run position but not cranking… you’ll hear a noise if your fuel pump is priming… no noise no fuel

i doubt thats your problem… sounds like your ignitor took a shit in the dizzy happened to me and ALOT of other honda owners

Would that cause it to kill my engine in the middle of driving it tho?. when i try to start it , it trys to start but somethings stopping it from getting all the way , i tryed to give it gas but it didnt even make any difference. Are you gonna be around tomm after 2 if i need ya to come check it out ill give ya a few bucks for your time

so i it wont even turn over all the way? try charging your battery, and dont tell me u have full power in your car, because all that takes alot less power to run than your starter needs to start the engine. then if it starts pull the neg cabnle off your battery and if it dies then your alternator is shot

it it kinda firing but just popping and getting nowhere? if thats the sace im positive its something inside your distributer. Being a 12 year old car it seems very likley.

if not we’ll run with what andy’s saying. did you notice lights start to dim or your radio start to cut out before it died? then it could be your alternator.

but seriously hondas have a problem with the ignitors inside the distributer and they are known for dying. From what you said it seems very likley that this is your problem. I dont know how to really TEST it besides trying to throw in another dizzy…

ignitor, fuel pump, main relay, ecu. probably in that order too. test the easiest ones first.

Everything shut off all @ once the engine, the radio and the lights.When the car was parked i had full power , my radio blasting lights fine, everything it just wouldnt get started all the way.The battery should be fine it was tested a few months ago and it was fine there was no signs of the battery being shot or on its way out

check your coil in the dizzy…same thing happened in my integra. I was on the on ramp at harlem for the 290, car just shut down. Check for spark, if there is none then i would take the distributor apart and take a look. The coil may be corroded. Napa on whirle had it in stock for like 70 i believe.

@ a shop getting diagnosed but im not letting them fix it no matter what id rather let someone fix it.its getting towed back here tomm after 2 after they tell me.

try looking at your main relay this exact thing happened to my civic

check your plugs too.

plugs and wires are good they were done less than a year ago. What exactly is a main relay?

when was the last time you did the timing belt? did the PO do it?

similar thing happened to my brother, and his timing belt was in two pieces…

its due for a timing belt but im positive thats fine i looked @ it and the tripple A guy even said it was fine.Its gotta be something in the ditsy , btw does anyone has a spare ls ditsy around thedy sell for cheap :)?

Thanks for the help guys. Timing belt slipped off the water pump pully and split damaging the head.Thats why i couldnt see it cause it happend on the bottom.So im fucked and its great cause this car is my only car lol.
