Whats fucked up is he expects you to deposit/refund money then he sends the part back, or just keeps both and screws you.
Help him sell it at best I suppose, send him the pic of it fitting again, vouche it fits, etc…

Exactly what paypal told me. basically its not through Ebay. Youre on you own.
The opposite of what they told me idk what your situation was but the item I bought was supposed to be a complete functioning cylinder head and what I got was warped unuseable and paypal basically said youre on you own. luckily the guy wasnt too bad and we can to an agreement.
mother fucking piece of shit

This item (bseries turbo manifold) was described to me that there would be NO clearance issues between the motor and wastegate. I was ASSURED that this would fit my setup without ANY problems. After the manifold was installed onto the car I came to find out that the wastegate will NOT come close to clearing the motor as stated.
I was told that the manifold had “very nice” welds. The flanges of the manifold have been cut and re-welded. They are not the original welds, and are far from “very nice” welds. I simply want to return the manifold to the seller and receive a full refund as requested.
f it. i just escalated it to a claim. this is BS
I Have in writing, via hondamarketplace.com of what i said. i did not guarantee no fitment issues, i told him it fit MY setup fine. He did not tell me whether or not he has a vtec head, a non vtec head, the car he was using it in or what wastegate he was running.
I Cannot guarantee fitment with him lacking to provide me with suffcient details.
The re-welds are there for support. After time, pinholes may get through the walls of the runners of the manifold, they were re-welded to make sure there were no possible boost leaks.
Chris did not contact me after he recieved the item, He then told me that he had lost his job and that he had tore something in his leg preventing him from playing soccer, which he was going to college for.
I Sold him this item several weeks ago, and he has not actually contacted me about it “not fitting” until 1-2 days ago.
Everything was as described, i did not mislead him in any way, shape or form.
If you would like the private messages from hondamarketplace.com , i will surely print them out if it will help the case.
LOL
As you may already be aware, PayPal’s Buyer Complaint Policy applies only
to the shipment of goods and not to complaints about the attributes or
quality of goods received through an eBay transaction. Therefore, we will
not conduct an investigation into this matter at this time.
I Win.
Some entitled prick getting what he deserved really made my day.
:word: Nice to see.
wow, what a fucking piece of shit.
Glad it worked out in your favor.
fuck yo manifol n!&&a, what am I gonna do about my leegggggs?
tell him that maybe he shouldn’t buy parts without knowing that they will fit his setup, and then expect a refund when it doesn’t fit lol
Hahahaha- nice.
any honda-tech bash thread yet?
i should be nasty to him lol, but i guess the case can be opened at anytime within the next 180days
oh well, i spent his money anyways already lol
So, you got that $400 back which paypal took?
I’m confused as I read this from beginning to end just now. I thought you won and he was on his own… and now you’re saying that a dispute can be opened. Didn’t that already happen and he lost and you got your money back?
You should PM him back…
“I was actually planning on sending you your money back and you opened a case on paypal”
:spank:
paypal didnt take anything from my account
they didnt hold my money or anything, because he opened the case like 3weeks after i sold him the money, and the money was already withdrawn by me out of my paypal account
ive never done this before, so i dont know how it works lol.
He filed a case this morning, i messaged him back during the “discuss” period, but i then said f it and just sent the case directly to paypal where they reviewed it and decided in my favor.
You have chosen to escalate this dispute to a PayPal claim. By ending
communication with the buyer, you are asking PayPal to investigate the case
and decide the outcome. As part of our investigation, PayPal reviewed any
communication you may have had with the buyer in the Resolution Center. We have received a complaint from a buyer who stated that merchandise you
sent them did not match your original description. The buyer is disputing
the quality of goods associated with the transaction detailed below. As you may already be aware, PayPal’s Buyer Complaint Policy applies only
to the shipment of goods and not to complaints about the attributes or
quality of goods received through an eBay transaction. Therefore, we will
not conduct an investigation into this matter at this time.We do, however, reserve the right to begin an investigation within 180 days
if we determine it is necessary.
Well paypal can reopen the case if they feel it is “necessary” , although i doubt it, but im going to keep those PM’s saved just incase and print them out.
i wouldnt ever sell a broken item/mislead a buyer, this is just him lying and trying to get his money back
LOL i was thinking about doing that, if he pm’s me back; i doubt he will though
