as the topic says i need help to finish swap… engine is in wiring is done, car turns over, starts then dies immediately after… not sure what the problem is and was wondering if anyone who has done this swap could help… its a 90’ s13 with redtop… if someone helps me get this started i will pay them some cash…

did you touch the cam angle sensor at all? or was it still set from japan?
no it was still set from japan
can you keep it going if you tap the gas to keep the revs up or does it die regardless?
it’s more than likely your idle controller located on the manifold, make sure it’s plugged in, check for errors codes woudl be a good idea too.
where abouts on the mani is this idle control located…???

make sure your fuel lines aren’t crossed… it happens.
no fuel lines are okay i think it might be crank angle sensor…
im goin to attempt to time the engine… than start up again…
im hoping this is the problem also gunna look over the wiring again…
but if anyone else knows the problem, let me know that would be great…
