See what you think. Just a little aluminum welding (MIG &TIG). For those of you who saw this on ditb, its a re-run.

Material: T6-6061 alu, .08-.25in
Filler metal/wire: ER4043 3/32-5/32 filler rod, .035 alcotec mig wire

Process: GTAW (tig)
amps: 25-407a
AC balence: 87% penetration
Sheilding gas: argon, 100%
Tungsten: 1/8in, zirconiated
Power source: A mans machine: Miller Sycrowave 350LX, water-cooled torches

Process: GMAW-P (pulsed mig)
Program 05, .035 ER4043 Alu
Arc length: 36
wire speed: 512imp.
Power source: Miller XMT304, w/ Miller Optima pulsing pendant
Wire feeder: MK Products Cobramatic push-pull wirefeeder, watercooled.

looks more like an intercooler, awesome welds, looks like it was done by a machine rather than by a person.

Amazing, those are nice, I have never welded Alumium, just mild steel and stainless.

I would guess that it is a heat exchanger.:stuck_out_tongue:
