Well My ITR which has only a spoon air filter can run a mid 14… The civic has a GSR engine in it which makes less power, but the car is considerably lighter do to the fact its completely stripped out and is a civic, even though its a coupe. A stock GSR would likley run a high 15 to mid 16 second quarter with a good driver.

if it was a VQ45DETT then it would have to come outta a M45 since (may be wrong) its the only car with that motor. So it was Twin Turbo? Heh… i thought the engine bay looked kinda scary but so cool… Then again i’m a fan of all swaps that are unqiue…

It likely has a really high lift cam in it… and it likely needs a slight timing and carb adjustment. Its straight pipe side exit…Its pretty normal sounding IMO.
I think that the smoke of the Honda/Nissan war, has blinded our eyes,
to how bunk Ford, and Hyundai are.

I like unique swaps as well, it’s just something to appreciate 
I never was sure either where the motor came from, but it was a newer 4.5L V8 with the transmission in the rear to help maintain a good weight distribution.
Google video had a vid of that online, I can’t find it anymore though. They shipped it to Germany to attempt a high speed run, it flat out hauls and idles smoothly.
