Hicas Subframe into non hicas car?
will it go in?
hhmmm.
i dunno but ill be there to help
farmer
it should fit man, I don’t see why not.
The hicas guys put nonhicas in, so I think it should work the other way.
what about the movable steering protion of the subframe?
you can swap the movable steering protion and put in your old streeting portion form your 89
i think its a bolt on
thankx
where is the hicas fuse? i looked for it one day with no luck
my car DOESNT HAVE HICAS thus there is no fuse to pull…
so basicly my question in if i put it into the car will the steering protion of the Hicas subframe move or stay still?
I don’t know why you want to change your subframe anyway? tehy don’t bend real easy, and believe me I’ve tried, and they don’t usually rot out, unless you’ve kept the thing soaking in salt water for 10 years or so?
Anyway… puttingteh HICAS subframe in a non Hicas car, I wouldn’t recommend. For starters you’ll have the HICAS rack, why carry the extra weight? If you’re going to take it off then you’ll be in a whole pile of bother becauset the mounting points for the toe links (bottom rear) are different so you won’t be able to use teh old one.
Which brings me back to my question… why?
If you do really need to I know there are lots of parst cars around, and lots on non-hicas rear subframes, do yourself a favour and get one of those and put it in.

i wana do it because my passenger side tire sits like this / /
because it was smacked into a curb (not by me) and i cant tell what the heck is causing it
Then get someone who can tell to look at it…
I can’t tell from your text graphics if it’s +ve or +ve camber you are trying to illustrate, or toe-in/out?
Either way, you probably need upper of lower control arms. You might need a subframe, but it’s unlikely and if you do get a non HICAS one.
