Since I couldnt afford the QX4, I am stuck with the Pathfinder, question is, can HID’s be installed in these headlights?And I’ve searched and searched and the bulb size is 9003…is that the same as H4?Cause all the kits I’ve found say 9003/H4 is the same…

9003/H4 is the same bulb. Both are exactly the same.
As for you DRL every car that was legal to purchase in CANADA since 91 HAS TO HAVE daytime running lights.
So yes your pathfinder has them
Ahhh thanks for all the info RS13…so has HIDS been installed on a 2001 or newer Pathfinder before???I’ve tried looking on Nicoclub and Fresh Alloy to see but to no avail?
Shouldnt be hard, they kinda just need to be wired up the last time i checked… plug n play last time i checked…

If you just plug HID bulbs into non-HID lenses, you’ll have a pretty wild beam pattern. A proper HID setup requires the proper bulbs, ballasts, and lenses, rather than some plug and play kit that gives you some sweet blue/purple light :roll:
Or you could do what I did and retrofit some into your stock headlight housings. It’s a lot of work and pissing around, but totally worth it!
