i have most of my parts that i need for my HID retro fit but i want to change over my high beams to projectors but still keep the halogen bulb. i am doing it because i think it is going to look bad having HID projectors for low beams and this big square halogen housing next to it. i want to cover the the light housing in ABS plastic so i will be covering up everything except the high beams unless i can find a 9005 projector. i found one projector on ebay but i need another one, so is there a company that sells projectors? or even is there something that i could retro fit that is circular to look like a projector that would be good for high beams?
Gotta find a halogen projector then; just putting a halogen bulb into a HID projector is just as bad as the opposite.
look in to valeo projectors they have halogen projectors, also i seen cadi projectors with purple tinted lense on ebay
Projector Highs would give you a terrible light pattern. My car comes stock HID low beam and Halogen High beam. And they both stay on at the same time when the highs are on, giving me amazing light output. If I were you I would not screw with the High beams for safety reasons.
its not like i use them a lot, i guess i have some deciding to do

i just dont like the look.
but i came up with an idea what about i cut a pop can in half polish it to a shine and create a circle around the bulb. that would get what i am look for and still be able to keep my stock high beams. here is a quick shitty photoshop of what i want to do.
as you see if i did the black on the projector and the turn signal it would not look right if there was still a big reflector next to it
