job is $10-$13/hr depending on skill level and experience, full time, full benefits.
You need to know something, do not apply if you just use a computer and have not fixed or supported computers. our last person went to school for IT, and did not have any practical knowledge, so just going to school doesn’t really do much for me. You will have to come in and answer technical questions for the interview.
Work experience in IT is preferred but not required if you know your shit. More details are in the posting, but basically you should know how to troubleshoot windows xp from top to bottom, should know how to build a home network and troubleshoot one (we are much larger than a home network, but if you understand the basic you can be taught the rest). Server experience is a plus but not required, this is an entry level position. The company is growing, very fast, we are on the way to IPO so once that hits the staff could easily triple in size if the funding is right. Current head count is somewhere around 125, we have offices in South Buffalo, Grand Island, Columbus OH, Pittsburgh PA, Pottsdam NY. If you are a star you will get good raises and promotions at least yearly, everyone on my staff has that performs well.
I interviewed a few people from here last time, so if you want to re-apply feel free, it was nothing personal that we didn’t hire you, your knowledge may be better now, and our needs have slightly changed.
Take it Joelle didn’t work out too well. Not really shocked there.
That said, sounds like a solid gig, where are all the nerds looking for jobs?

um, yea, not so much… she interviewed very well, which after knowing her baffles me. Nice girl, liked her personally, her technical skills and basic communications skills were :tiffy:
I’m actaully kind of suprised on that. But having the privilage of going to school with her she was a “bit” weak on the technical side and what she ended up doing to one person at school is unforgiveable. If I could do things again I would have risked expulsion to change it.

I’m just glad in a way karma worked out.
