Shitty dude. I was working in leduc that day. Went in at 8:30am…no problems. Finished and started on my why home at 6pm. By the time I got to Devon I saw 8 cars in the ditch including a guy who T-boned a light pole. Then from devon to the city limits traffic was going from 30km/h to 0…and saw another 7 cars off the road. Crazy times. White outs every few kms and there was no way i could get over 75kms/h. Made it home though. I was wondering. Where do the people go once they hit the ditch. All the cars were abandend and alot were roll overs. I guess you just chill out upside down till someone cames and helps you. It would be death to get out.
At least with the Pete, you can crawl in the back and sleep/whack off/watch TV till the bad weather fucks off. :E
What’s under the hood?
cat C12. Im glad i didnt roll the truck though. 2 of our trucks have been rolled in the last 3 months already.
i was heading back into town fron sherwood park on wednesday night
the freeway was horrible you couldnt see a thing white out the whole time
i had to follow the tail lights of the guy infornt of me
i counted 4 cars that i could see in the ditch
sorry to hear about your truck travis
i didnt find the roads that bad at all
same, thought it was really snowy but it was still ok in my area. Sorry to see that, 500 bucks is alot of money to me
I got some awesome pics of people in ditches. I’ll post once they’re published. A van tipped on its side and just on the other side of the highway (216) a truck rolled. You would think if you saw one rolled vehicle in the ditch, you’d slow down so you wouldn’t roll yourself.
All the roads in the cities were fine but the highways were a little slippery.
haha that really sucks. me and my gf hit the ditch a few winters ago. i thought we were going to roll but we didnt. got out for free tho. good thing ur safe and theres no damage to the truck.
