Holiday valley employment?

i was wondering if anyone had any info on working there. i know i can call and ask but this is more regarding the season pass you get for working there

how many days a week do you need to work to get a season pass threw them, how much do they usually pay, and do you think they are still hiring.

i didnt want to call and ask this due to sounding like all i want is a seasons pass. which that really is why! wouldnt look good if thats what i asked when i called them for a job. lol

any info would be great.

sorry i worked at kb, no holiday for me. although i am thinking of getting a season pass for hv this year.

i worked at hv a few years ago, i think as long as you work one day a week you get the pass, since its your work id badge everyone gets them

and now since i used to run the lifts i always want to show people how to swing chairs the right way, most people have no clue and work too hard and still dont do it right. lol

worked the lines @ KB for two winters and instructed part of one. if you’re on payroll, you get a pass/name badge. as an instructor you had to wear the GD jacket to ski with your name badge b/c they were different. and every hour regardless if you were on the clock you had to show for line-up if you were in a jacket.

just say you are only available sundays, or whatever. dont mention the pass, if you work there you get one. whether you are serving food or swinging chairs.

lol i dont feel like paying an arm and a leg for a season pass. especially seeing as paying an arm and a leg for gas everytime i drive there from akron.

last year i went like 25 times, and i lived in williamsville. gas fucking blows

So I got the call yesterday, I am officially a snowboard instructor for holiday valley. I went last weekend saturday and sunday to be certified, and got the call asking me if id like to work.

looks like my plan for the season was a big success!
