my buddy’s got a 94 integra rs with a 1.8L DOHC (im guessing b18? I dunno)…

he’s cruising down the highway the other day and car dies… gets it towed to where he can check it out… getting fuel and spark, but i guess tehres a low voltage and high voltage in the coil? it’s only getting low voltage. distributor is turning so he’s kinda ruling it out to the distribution module but not too sure. i haven’t a clue on imports so i was gonna see if this sounds familiar to anyone and what it could be?

they go bad its quite commen

compression test it. was it overheating. replace plugs and wires. if that dont work replace coil there 20.00 from adavance.

they are alot more than 20 bucks…try like 80!

for the internal coil? where are you shopping?

did not overheat at all, basically he was coming up 279 near the 79 interchange up the little hill and it just quit, had to get it towed up to parkway center mall.
