Keeping it simple will be your best bet. Well documented builds may be boring in terms of “personalization”, but you know what you’re getting into and there is plenty of documentation to troubleshoot from when things go south. I would do the b18 turbo build on the guidelines of what is popular in the Honda world these days (i’ve been out of it for a while).
If you’ve got the cash flow, K-Series builds seem cool. I don’t know much about them though.
Not true at all if you want it to be realiable at all
K20 and crsx I have seen and scooped some crazy deals have seen k24a2’s go for under 1k and 5sp trans go for 4-500… dont really matter the op doesn’t seem like he wants a huge change more like easy drop in. I love my boosted k just never drive it anymore. Time to sell
Well you’re wrong. Maybe you should check who put their hands on your motor and who tuned it. I ran 350whp in my car with a b-series and beat on it every day and let me tell you it was one of the best running Hondas around here. Also guy ran the same setup on that motor for 3 years before I owned it.
H ftw, na with some cams, mod the intake, exhaust with a good tune and make some nice hp. but then again i love my turbo h22, but for some reason its telling me to fuck off and wont start. if your going to do pistons but dont want to sleeve it you only have one option and that would be mahle.
Ok, now tach on mounts to make it fit, shifter cables, shifter box, k-pro, engine harness, axles, etc…if k-swaps were cheap, everyone would be doing them because without a doubt they are a far superior motor to the b/d/h motors.
