I liked my hondas, I liked my nissan(technically an infiniti), I liked driving most of my VW’s though ownership was another story and I hated my GM’s. Judging cars strictly by make is a blind statement to make these days what equals suck for someone is not a factor for someone else and vice versa, end of story.

this thread should have read honda owners suck and i would be the first to agree. with the cheap nature of honda you can expect many will be owned by broke young kids that dont know any better. anyone that builds a honda like myself i would hope would expect to hear just about everything said in this thread. hondas suck, ricers, slow, econo box, etc…
honda designs one hell of an engine though, we tuned a stock motor k20 type r motor and made 230whp with just intake manifold header and exhaust. keep in mind a stock s2000 puts down less than 200whp on our dyno. the k series motors are far superior than the f20c. for a naturally aspirated 2.0l these numbers are astronomical compared to any production motor. the b16 was the first N/A production motor to make 100hp per liter and that was 20 years ago.
Alot of Honda owners are idiots but the same goes for alot of people who think they’re into cars and really just like putting stickers on stuff. You see everything riced out from Honda Civics to Chevy Camaros. Some people watch fast and the furious and want to wrap their car in vinyl nonsense with a drifter body kit, and say they have a ten second car cause the put their own CAI on and fart cannon and still manage to lose bolts performing these simplist mods. Let me tell you “ricers” 10 seconds is in the 1/4 mile not the 1/8 mile or zero to sixty. So stop playing NFS underground like its your job and cutting me off on my way to work, school, ect. and save yourself the moving violations
As far as Hondas go. They are a fine car. You must consider that the performance that comes from an economy based vehicle is pretty good compared to most vehicles in their class. They are easy to work on for the most part which is good for an entry level modder. There are many tried and true combos out there and you can go pretty fast on a buget.
