Fine with me lol. I have a couple friends down there and that’s all I need. I don’t go to bars or clubs or any of that stuff. I don’t need to live in a place that has amazing night light or something. Just nice places to grab dinner with some sites to see, a good economic/job market environment, and good weather. That’s all I really need.
Winning. I gotta say, being a UAlbany student I’m pretty proud of the work that place is putting in to develop the campus and the technologies not only there, in the area, but in the world.
As a HUGE sports fan…this is HUGE for the university on a sports front believe it or not. Why?
- More money being dumped into the University means more for them to spend on the school in general
- Because of #1, they are building a brand spankin new football field. Ground breaking is in August.
- Evidently, from what I have heard via rumors, UAlbany football team which is pretty decent is moving up to the CAA conference. This is BIG. Going to bring in better players, which means better teams, which means even more money, etc. etc. Once the other teams (basketball, lacrosse, etc.) follow suit…that will also bring in more revenue. Lacrosse and I believe track and field are nationally ranked programs (or are very close - on the bubble).
UAlbany is quickly going to become one of the countries best universities not only in the class room, but on the sports field as well and when it comes to the community.
