Of course NY has to derail any new budding industry the state has been able to attract by taxing the shit out of it. Hopefully Maziarz can bury this legislation enough to convince Verizon it will never pass.

This is good news - looks like Buffalo will be known for the data center capital of the east - first Yahoo, probably Verizon, and in the long run… Google?.

Also Verizon has a DC already in downtown on Franklin Street (i believe) we toured it at a previous job.
There are quite a few DC colo companies downtown. Would be nice to see more downtown, but I can see why they’d choose Niagara county.
Sitting on the escarpment they can take advantage of the frigid air that comes off the lakes. It’s always about 10 degrees cooler just off the lake than it is in Lockport. LOL you go out for a motorcycle ride in the spring on a nice warm day and then get by the lake and freeze your ass off.
