Ok, first things first
Get a ftp client (flashFXP is the best)
You have to set up a router or do what i did and used a seperate NIC(its easier this way)
You need a Crossover cable(very important)
If hes using Evox, this needs to be setup in the options
[Network]
SetupNetwork = Yes
StaticIP = Yes
Ip = 192.168.0.3
Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
Defaultgateway =
DNS1 = 0.0.0.0
DNS2 = 0.0.0.0
[FTP]
Enable = Yes
Password = xbox
IGR = No
After that is done he needs to goto his network settings and put this in
IP Address: 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: <leave blank>
DNS: <leave blank>
In flashFXP Name it Xbox or whatever and for the IP enter 192.168.0.3, verify the port is 21
Username and password are both xbox

its pretty cool, i catch onto all that comp shit pretty fast. its funny because my teacher was showing us binary shit and im doin the calculations in my head (not that their hard) and everybody else is confused as fuck lol…like converting binary into hexadecimal…easy as hell…yes some kids are like retarded about it.
ftp = file transfer protocol, simply put it means transfer files to xbox hdd. I like to load .avi files and other movie files and music files and shit. XBOX = my own little media center.
