"How Do You Earn a Living" sticky

I’m in business development there and fucking love it. Travel about once a month, expense account, great boss, etc. But I work for a subsidiary, just housed in the Williamsville office. Massaging a vendor relationship to keep the option of a vendor jump open though. however I think that would require a lot more travel, which I really dont want.

Join the travel club its fun

Late to the party here, but congrats man! Welcome to the force!

What’s Ingram start out at typically for an “entry level” position?

really depends on the position.

I’m locked into another year in Logistics, but am kinda questioning if I should have tried to get into Market Development. My buddy works up there and said he loves it as well.

Since people seem to enjoy my business card

is there anyone that just has “consultant - penetration” as their title line?

No :frowning:

Could you consult me on how to attack and penetrate my wife?

That is quite the title.

you will be under 30k a year, unless you have serious sales expirience

Expect like $12 an hour.

I’m happy were I am, I’m pretty sure slaw and Justin’s cousin enjoy the job.

Where

Yeeeesh I thought Ingram paid more than that

Nope. Once you put up with BS for a year it’s okay but srsly…no thanks.

I’ll never work in a box/cube farm ever again.

They do if you find the right department but coming in with 0 experience your not going to make a lot

yikes dude. no wonder you didnt like it.
