Not a chance lol. Prison is well prison, if they made a show what’s it’s like to be behind the walls of these places it wouldn’t be able to be shown anywhere. That’s about the best I can put it. I’ve seen more shit than most will see in 10 lifetimes behind the walls.
They do, it’s called Behind Bars on Nat Geo…
Kidding lol
There was certainly an underlying sarcasm when I typed it out, lol. I’m sure you have some pretty crazy stories. I couldn’t even imagine.
New thread for crazy stories?!
Insurance Agent @ Allstate
Just got my official offer/accepted the offer today…
Manager, Business Development; Moog Components Group, Medical products.
I’m going to have to wear 2 hats for a while though and do both my current job and the new job for a few months. We’ve already been looking for a replacement for my current role… fuck the candidates suck; it’s going to take a while to find a suitable replacement that can do at least 75% of what I do.
What are you wearing?
… khakis
You sound hideous.
 I have never been in a prison, im so interested in them though
Well he is a guy.
Me too, they fascinate me. I’ve been reading IAmA’s on Reddit about corrections officers. It’s nuts.
Assistant Store Manager at Walgreens…should have my own store fairly soon, but definitely regretting not staying in Buffalo after school. Not many opportunities down here that make more than what I currently make.
Now that looks like a cool job.
Bump.
Searched and this seemed like the best suited place to post.
@cougarspeed refresh me on some of your interview strategies and tips! I have one today at my current place of employment.
- Show up early, like 10-15min early not anymore than that.
- Dress Professionally. I don’t think you will have a problem here, but some people don’t have a clue.
- I always do research on the company and bring it up in the interview somehow. “I noticed you’re just acquired COMPANY X, how is that affecting your workflow” Something like that. I typically ask about big projects that they’re working on since I interview in IT. It shows you’re interested.
- Bring copies of crucial stuff. I always have resumes on hand (10 copies), maybe course completion stuff from side classes I’ve taken, whatever.
- Salary and money are to be brought up by the employer first. We had another department on campus interviewing for a position. One guy asked right out of the gate how much this job pays. NO.
- Shake hands like a man, firm grip look the person in the eye. I judge guys more so, based on handshake. Don’t be a fucking pussy and limp wrist, dead fish my hand.
- Have fun I guess. I don’t really mind interviews and I feel I do pretty well with them. Be confident in yourself, If you’re applying for a position then you probably have the skills to do the job well.
Good luck Bro Montana! Get Money, Get Paid
Haha, thanks man!
Try to get the interviewer to talk more, ask questions, get to know them and their processes and then talk your skills and personality into what they do. You are trying to convince them that you would be a great fit for their team and I find this to be the best approach. People love to brag and talk about themselves so it doesn’t take that much effort to get them to open up.
Also remember you are interviewing them if you want to work for their company. Get them to sell you on the position and company.
Pretty much this I have been interviewing people for the past two weeks and some of the interviews were painful because of a complete lack of personality
