Cut the brown wire and attach a relay connected to a switch to allow/disallow an electric current through that wire, then you can do the ghetto sleepy eyes mod, plus retain the ability of the full cycle.
In terms of the wink. A complicated way would be to relay the headlight motor wires to their own switch individually and control it that way, plus teh switch for the brown wire i mentioned earlier (as the brown wire would need to be disconnected for the other switches to work, then control the headlights one by one.
