I was just wondering if anyone could help me rewire the headlight motors for the sleepy eye effect. Thx. I’ll pay for any help.

found this with a simpler search. I cant beleive someone would actually ask this question when its answered on nico, club 240, etc etc, and its answered here
Just cut the brown wire on ur pop up actuator(the pop up button) Put the button back in. Turn ur headlights on. Click the pop up button so they lights stay in popped up position. Then hit the pop up button twice quickly and the headlights will drop a few inches, do this untill the height u want is reached.
All it does is cut off power to bring the headlights back up using the pop up button. thus making sleepy eyes
sorry just need clarification…
will the lights still stay on when there in, “sleepy-eye” mode?
Not if you just use the brown wire method. What you would need to do is wire up a switch to the lights motors or something like that, to the lights themselves I believe, so they are ‘off’ when you flip your light switch but remain up due to the brown wire. Find your wanted height and flip the switch to give power to the lights.
yea i thought so… i knew it wouldnt be that easy…
i’m a NOOB x2 when it comes to anything electrical… but I followed the step by step instructions on NICO and bought everything they listed and got my sleepy eye mode (WITH LIGHTS! O)
ill try and post the NICO link later, too lazy to find it
