I’m at about 20 hours a week these days. I’ve got 3-1/2 days off this week, then next week off, then 4 days the following week, then another week off…then maybe a full week, but the following week, I gotta have off. Ohh yeah, lately the days are maybe 4 hours.
Depends on the season. I do alot of seasonal work. Landscaping I work anywhere from 10-50 hrs/week depending on how buisy we are. The Maize is usualy 70+/week, then more if they needed me. I didn’t care…I loved workin there.
i dont believe everyone who says they work 60 hrs a week plus school full time. pretty close to impossible, unless you just suck at school and get by w/ D’s.
i remember when i did the school/work combo thing… no life. work to school to home to sleep. repeat, every day.
no ur right no life, get up for work at 6 get to work and stay till 5 leave work to go to night school from 6-9, it sucks no doubt but i dont want to be a welder the rest of my life.
im paied for 80 hours every other week… on week 1 i work TUESDAY-friday 7-4:30 and on week 2 i work monday - thursday 7-430 and friday is 7-330
so basicly 9 hour days n every other monday off
oh yea and a 15 minute brake at 915 & 215, a 1 hour lunch every day and monday wednesday friday 1 hour to go work out… GOD I LOVE THE GOVERNMENT
btw im a technician for the national guard during the week n then do the 1 weekend a month n 2 weeks a summer deal ( which happens to be 3 weeks in germany this year)
I did this one for a while…
Mon/Wed/Fri: school 8-1, then worked @ Whiting Door in Akron from 3:30pm-12am (many times 3:30pm-2am due to ot). Tues/thurs: Shure Fine (local grcery store) 5:30am-3pm, Whiting 3:30pm-12am (2am if OT). I went straight from one job to the other and slept like 20 min in my car.I would then sleep for a few hrs after work and go to school. Sat: Shurfine 5:30-4, unless I talked to my boss and he let me have OT at Whiting, then I worked 9am-2pm there then 3pm-9pm at the store. I pulled a 3.3 average taking 7 credits at ECC for the state EMT class working 2 fulltime jobs. I typically worked at Whiting door 44-46 hrs and Shure Fine 38-40hrs aweek. Thatwas hell! lol. But I LOVED pulling in the cash. I was making $12 an hr base pay at whiting ($18/hr OT) w/full bennies. $5.50/hr at Shurefine. Got sick of it after about a month and quit the store. Then worked at Whiting for another 4 months and got sick of theBS and left to be a Landscape foreman.
i was working 61+ hours (about 65-70 a week) for two years but about two weeks ago I got fired from one of my jobs, but now I work about 37 hours a week on salary.
I do my normal full time at Multi (40) then jet over to sears an now that the holidays are over its back to 15 a week from 30ish. I just wish the over time was always guarenteed at my main job but i work it whenever i can make schedules mesh.
