Meh… there is truth to that… but i rarely go out without a helmet/gloves at a bare minimum.
Im from PA and you dnt have to wear a helmet down here which is dumb imo but o well.My uncle got a icket for not wearing a proper helmet a few months ago in NY and it was 165 after all said and done
Tx does not require them. I don’t see why they should be able to make laws that govern your personal safety as long as you have your own proper insurance coverage.

Ohio has no helmet law as far as I know. I dont know how much it’ll cost you, sorry, just random input.

my court date is next friday… Bringing a lawyer just so i can breeze through the process. It’ll likely be a parking ticket.
Yeah act like it was a fix it ticket. Bring a DOT helmet and say you didn’t know the other one was illegal.

Didn’t feel like making the trip to Ellicottville court considering it knew it woulnd’t be a moving violation/points on my license. Got my fine in the mail, $35 fine with a $55 surcharge lol…desperate for money. My dad was pissed since he got stopped at one of the “Motorcycle Safety” checkpoints recently too and got nailed for loud pipes, and his was $50 fee with $55 surcharge.

I’ve got one…but on that particular day i had a lady friend on the back and i’d rather have the passenger wearing the useful helmet since i know i have a hard head, and her i wasn’t too sure about.

my “No helmet” ticket was dropped. I showed an 8x10 pic of the t-rex to the judge and he dropped the ticket as a “Conditional Discharge”.
The look on the officer’s face was priceless. The cocksucker was telling me how he should have given me a ticket for not wearing goggles because my windscreen isn’t high enough. I then showed him another picture showing that the windscreen just comes to the top of my head.
No ticket, no fine.
