That’s awesome. Eventually I’ll have a job that I’ll be happy to do everyday and love, but as far as being proud of what I do, that’s few and far between. Kudos to you, sir.

Job: Surgical instrument repair tech.
Pay: Just started at 40k a year. Hopefully the place i work with keeps growing like they have been. I can see making 60k+ with in a few years.
Completely happy with the way things are going for being 23. Im really excited to see where im at when im 30 or so.

Job: “Contracting” I Do every type of tile work, drywall, demo, roofing, framing… focusing on bathroom and kichen remodels
Hourly wage: Works out to be about 13$ per hour, + Paid lunch, + Paid breakfast( If i choose)
Hours: I work 16-24 during the school year, 40-50 during summer, spring break winter, break
Bad: Only off on saturdays and sundays. Last year i went almost 5 months of working 9-10 hours a day, 7 days a week. I don’t get vacation time.
By summer i am hoping for a pay increase, and maybe going to run the actual business side of things such as preparing estimates, drawings etc
I Do not at all want to make this my career, it’s nice to know all of these things but i want to get a career in what im going to school for. It doesn’t really provide for a nice social enviroment, and im sore every single day and im only 19. Office job sounds nice

Applications never ask the proper questions. I can use a computer without issue, I’m very good at talking to people whom I dont know or never met, I can speak publically, and I can burry whatever the fuck is going on in my head and put on the happy persona that most jobs require.

Hours: 3 - 12HR shifts - All the overtime I want… and Lots of Job Security.
Negatives - Dealing with sick patients and ppl who don’t speak English in Cali.

man, idk if its different with mechanical, but I started out at 12 flat rate in the body shop at Holtz. Granted, I had a degree from alfred state, but after getting some time/experience I would hope they would give you more.

Hourly- aprox $16 an hour 40hrs if Im lucky and dont get mandated to do OT, theres all the OT in the world, I could work 3 shifts a day everyday if I wanted to
perks- health insurance, pension, lincolns and washingtons bday + tons of other BS time I get about 200 hours a year of time
What I learned is a lot of people must live at home to afford their cars :lol:
