That is awesome. Totally different topic, but I would definitely be a stay at home dad if the opportunity arose. But that requires kids, which aren’t in the picture for a long time.

This thread literally makes me laugh out loud at some of you.

At some yes, others seem to be doing pretty well, some might be bs. Hell i didnt even want to post at first because i was embarrassed but then realized that being at least a few years younger than most made me feel better lol.

I would imagine he’s LOL’ing at some of the asshattery and boast banter.
A fast car won’t really make dicks bigger.
Oh and mo money, mo problems.

Some people are just too obsessed with money. I will gladly take a job after I graduate making $35k/year if I enjoy it.

Tough to put a price tag on personal growth and satisfaction!
As long as the $ doesn’t come at the expense of sanity and it doesn’t make you stagnate in life it’s all gravy.

At 35 an hr for yourself, how are you not back into the car scene?

education:High school
job: Electrician( apprentice)
pay:16.70 hr. Plus $5 hr into pension and $7 hour into health benefits aaccount.
Hours:40

Anyone can go and signup with just a high school education and you just need to be a good mechanic and working outside year round if need be.

The company I work for is also ALWAYS hiring, it’s just that the first few months are ridiculously hard work for long hours, overnight. Start at around $11/hour but have the potential to be making $18+ in less than a year. Plus full benefits (health, dental/vision, 401k matching, paid vacation & sick time…). Anyone feel free to shoot me a PM for info. Its getting me through college very comfortably.

Money in the bank and im looking at houses…I will be back in the scene in spring with something cheap.

Now your speaking my language. Houses are as cheap as a car payment on something half decent, if you stay below 100k.

wheres my boy driftg35? i want to know if garnishing 100 out of his wages is really going to break the bank… itd only be a one time shot

also… homeownership has a lot of hidden costs

100k financed = 600 monthly
figure 3k in taxes=250 monthly
homeowners ins= 100 monthly

dont forget about
water/electric/gas/cable/phone/internet/sewer/garbage/food/maintenance on property(lawn, building, pool, etc etc)

ugh… I’m sure im forgetting even more…

QFT…

Maintenance… and/or repairs for an older home or due to prior owners attempts at fixing things that just made them worse…
