I honestly don’t know what my price would be. if someone put $20k on the table I’d probably do that, and just buy another one and do a euro m3 swap instead of an m20 stroker
I really want an e30 m3. I will probably buy one after I buy an e39 540i/6 as a dd. Bunch of people have offered me straight up trades on my car for an e30 m3. without even advertising it. Im sure i could therefore get an e36 m3 trade for it too, but I think I’d rather have an e30 m3.
either way, as much as I’d like an e30 m3, I can’t see myself trading it for one. That’s why I’d sell it for ~$20k. buy a nice one in germany for $5k, $1k shipping, spend $5k on a euro m3 s52 w/obdI conversion, $1k for someone to do the swap (I’m sick of doing swaps, maybe when I own a house with a garage. but I’m so f’ing sick of pulling motors). and $7k to convert it to U.S. spec legally. maybe when I study abroad, I’ll sell my touring first, and pick one up there. with a euro s52 in the trunk
