So I have had my walbro for 4 or 5 years, and was having break up and wierd sypmtoms, such as supartic loss of power and horrible idle/ no power with 1/4 tank.
So it was replaced next walbro, however (this next part is for you guys) MY FUEL SOCK BROKE OPEN AND GAUZE WAS JAMMING THE INLET.
SO; if its been 3+ years, I RECOMMEND getting a new install kit with new insulator and sock…

mine is definately older than that without issues but i drive the car much less than you do and not through winter.

had mine in 3 years in both cars… no problems
that shitty sock filter it comes with- isn’t very trustworthy in terms of how it’s mounted, i fabbed up some extra security for both of mine
but yeah other wise no problems
