How to disarm alarm? (with no key fob and siezed door locks)

My door locks are stuck and the key fob has no effect (tried reprogramming it while the alarm was going off). Can turn on electronics with the key but won’t start.

All this happens right after I finally get the thing etested and safetied… shit luck.

This is a 97 240LE by the way.

Sucks your locks are seized, usually If its factory, you can lock then unlock the door outside to disarm.

what if you took the door panel off and disconnected the rod that goes to the lock cylinder? you could then pull it up and down to see if that would turn the arm off. you may need to do it from inside with the door closed.

or u could just rip the alarm system out

So funny thing happened today. As I was about to start looking at wires and relays - just playing with my keys to pass the time and the fucking key fob decides to work FINALLY!
I tried it again multiple times and it unlocks no problem with the fob now - weird.

I want to get a new fob and program it to my car… I don’t think I can trust this one completely now.
Also need to replace the manual locks as a last resort if something goes wrong again…

alarms are pointless on 240’s ur better off just taking it all out.

factory alarm systems are the first thing theives learn to break… best to put in a good aftermarket with some unique changes to make it more difficult

first, fix your drive side door atleast so you have a “hard” way to enter the car. second, unplug the fob so you dont find your self in this situation. 3rd, find an aftermarket alarm

Bust a Window Brooo

Alarms are not pointless on any car, if you have it properly installed and have a GPS tracking system.

If you installed it yourself you could unplug the module, however if it’s tied into the starter, then you’re pretty much screwed and would have to get the whole system properly taken out… and as far as no keyfob, get the serial number/alarm info and contact the manufacturer, get the keyfob with instructions on how to program the keyfob. Fixed.
