i had a ka24e and i could drift 2nd gear anywhere no problem 30-70km/h and third gear I could momentum drift it through bigger corners at 80 until 3rd maxes out. third is really hard to keep wheels spinnign wheels with ka, almost impoosible, nothing wrong with drifting a ka, i think a high entry speed would be above 70 ? thats for street imo, not parking lot or anything, track high entry speed for me would be 120, this is derived from my ka experience
ok, now when we say entry speed of 80. is that included in the after braking? or before braking? are you sideways at 80km/hr? 120km/hr seems a little fast no? i guess im too noob =P. the reason me saying is that on drift bible his entry speed was 120, but after the braking and all, it was around 70-80km/hr. just wondered by wat definition “entry speed” meant.
ok for example on nelson corner 1 (not 0, 0 is the first long curve), you would be approaching at say 150 ? than you brake to 120, that I consider entry speed because at that speed I would use brake drift and feint (i dont think about what i do) and you slide and you end up coming around 80 km/h if you catch grip, or if you link it into corner 2 yuo come out around 70km/h, the third corner i would just floor into gonig around 120 rite before it starts to curve in, its downhill, you are on the outside and you let off and it slides and you coutner and you floor it and apex it and increase angle because the curve becomes sharper you dont want to fly out…
who said anything about fishtailing?
It’s JDM, tyte.
For the umpteenth time, fistailing is not drifting.

alesserfate can’t drift, and is all about power over while exiting the corner!
Maybe gonad can give him some lessons on drifting.
I’m not a drifter. I just pretend to build a fast car that is still slower then stock.

so what is the advantage of drifting with an SR? :?
Ladies ladies… it’s not the car, it’s the driver.
listen mr dont lean on my car. First off, my cars fine… i havnt touched it since the track day its still lookin all boro and smashed, i put about 400km on it saturday-monday. I do have a worn out tie rod or balljoint though i havnt looked to see which.
yeah yeah i couldnt keep it on the track cause i was too busy trying to double your entry speed bitch!!

NEVER! I’ve seen him drift, or at least try to.
I’ve never really considered the KA “torqy”. When you guys refer to it that way it sounds a little weird but I guess it makes sense when compared to other 4-bangers.
What do you guys consider “high” entry speed? I find the only way I can get a good drift going is if I hit the corner at +80km/h. This is in a KA, mind you.
