That sucks. I can relate. We just had a guy get hurt today too. He was carrying a ladder and stepped into a hole that he didn’t see.
Workers comp is a PITA and they won’t compensate you 100%. Good luck with everything.
I wouldn’t sue anyone. Especially if you like where you work. If you sue, your days there will be numbered.
