Pretty sure my 3800lb Camaro 1LE would kick the shit out of a BRZ on a road course. You can pick one up for around $34k right now if you can find one. Not sure why you think a BRZ is such an amazing car, and that American pony cars can’t handle. My car runs high 12’s in the 1/4 can pull over 1g in a corner and can stop from 60 in under 100 feet. It can do that lap after lap too.
Ha, I ain’t mad bro, but I’m not the only one that thinks you are delusional (as usual). I hope you have fun beating up on 4.6L 2V mustangs, thats probably if they don’t know how to drive by the way.
Its ok though I don’t have a fast car either right now, I do miss having a stick shift car though…
So you are comparing a $25k car to a $34k car. Take the extra $9k and let see how much power we can put to the FRS. They didn’t produce the FRS/BRZ to have power out of the factory, they made it as a car for people to do what they want to them starting at a low price for a sports car. Intake, Exhaust, tune… without a turbo and you already have about 250hp. Put a turbo on the car and return for another $4k, the car will probably produce 400hp. 400hp in a car that weight under 2800lbs sounds pretty enjoyable when comparing the money spent for the camaro and being able to build your own frs. Power to weight at this point, the FRS should have no problem.
Sorry I guess all the muscle guys came into the convo.

I would love to see you drive your vette the same way I drive my honda and end up with 26/27mpg. lol
Oh this wonderful argument “well if you modded this brand new car under warranty it would be faster than X”
It still doesn’t change the stopping or turning abilities of the car
The BRZ has the same 60-0 and lateral G’s as my 3700lb Sedan which also happens to run 0-60 and the 1/4 mile significantly faster
They need to make a STi model before this thing is at all impressive its slower than most modern family sedans and its turning and stopping abilities are not much better.
I’m guessing you are talking about the stock tires it comes with on the brz which are the same as a prius. They designed the wells for wide tires so that you can put a better stance, tire/rim combo for better handling.
Honest… I really was excited to hear about the Mustang 2.3l turbo but wish the weight would come down. I would love the focus if we could get the euro one with the AWD. I was really excited to hear about GM trying to compete against the BRZ/FRS but I haven’t heard much more about the cars. I believe it was the Code 130r. The Camaros are nice, they are doing a good job with them and definitely have a good look, I just dont need that big of a car when dealing with a sports style vehicle. And like stated, I love the new vette… my only beef is the rear bumper and how high they brought that black plastic up. It needs less of that and more of the painted bumper.

Well troll, you apparently haven’t looked into the car enough. We are comparing again a $34k car apparently to a $25k car. Tell me what you would buy for $25k comparable? Not trying to be an ass asking, I am curious. Have you actually driven one? I really dont know many people that talk shit about the FRS besides the lack of power which again from the manufacture, they did it for a reason.
Again, tires/wheels make a world of a difference. Stock tires/wheels, I’d hope you can over a prius wheel. lol How much wider are your tires? How much of a performance tire comes on the car from the factory?
Edit: do you search out my posts when I first make them? lol You comment on 90% of them. I believe that gives you troll status.
honestly yam sometimes I think you make threads like this just to tell everyone your opinion and hear your own voice. Every single sentence in your last post had the word “I” in it
there are many, many different demographics to satisfy out there and in today’s economy they build cars that will sell, not ones that fill a tiny niche. as someone said we’re all lucky that manufacturers even are able to offer performance/enthusiast style vehicles since those only generally account for a tiny percentage of sales that keep a manufacturer alive.
Actually this was created to show that toyotas and hondas are more american made than GM, then it turned around into power and engines and etc by others. I just went along with it.
