For Sale! a 1974 Corvette stingray. This car woud be great for restoration or parts. complete drive train. frame in good condition. small rust spot in one door small block 350 engine with upgades and automatic transmition .inerior has to be redone but i do have some of the parts. new driver and passenger side windows. new rear window, new gas tank and fuel sending unit. i only have on T-top unfortunatly nd missiing a wind shield and seats. all numbers are matching. 75,000 orianal miles, clean title. new bumper and bumper cover. needs a little fiberglass work on the front. custom built rear with spoiler very sharp. Car can not be drivin will need to be trailered or towed. Extreme potential is a beautiful car in the rough.Hate to see it go but I need the money for college and just don’t have the time to work on it. Asking $3200 O/B/O. email for further info or photos. no the fender, quarters and bumpers are fiberglass, the rest is all metal in that body style i believe

if the doors are metal then i assume he’s referring to the door jam

dude, its a 74. I believe the door was metal but im not 100% sure

Just a hunch, but I think attempting to mount an engine into a fiberglass bay, and suspension to fiberglass body might present some insurmountable technical issues. Safe to assume that isn’t the whole car that’s made out of fiberglass.

Im pretty sure the door skins are glass as well, I did a 70’s somethin vette a long time ago and recalled it being glass…

Could just be a reaction the fiberglass had with the primer causing it to bubble or something that looks like rust. Fiberglass likes to go weird things

the outer layer of vettes are glass . butttttt reg bondo on glass will form a rusty look in the patch
