I was listening to WBEN today while in the shower and I heard a Mercedes-Benz commercial advertising the ML class. The thing that caught my attention was “The car-like ride…” Why do they advertise “car-like ride” for an SUV? If the buyer wanted a “car-like ride” wouldn’t they just buy a car?
Unless they’re trying to show how other SUVs rides’ are of poor quality compared to cars showing how theirs is not any different in comparison to their cars. Any insight?
my guess is that they are trying to market the ML to people who are using the SUV as an urban assault vehicle versus an off road vehicle. these people are more than likely looking for luxury and comfort while still being on the suv bandwagon. just my input.
people want SUVs because the retards won’t die when they get into accidents with their tanks… so they can continue to populate the world with SUV flipping ass clowns.
Besides… SUV… it’s the american dream… Well, that’s what all the rappers tell me anyways.
eh… I know my fiance has one cause her neon was a piece of shit, she thinks 4x4 is cool, and she likes sitting higher than the people around her.
her mom has the same thing as fetter… and I think she has it for the same reasons.
her dad has an ?01? Cherokee Sport… cause for Buffalo winters you have to have 4x4, and Jeep has the best. He has always been a SUV guy though… just sold his 86 Blazer…
Her brother has a Trail Blazer EXT … he has room for 7 people. He doesn’t even know 7 people. WTF. How dumb is that?
I’m thinkin about getting a CRV, lowering it, turboing it, and smoking everyone with it 4x4 style.
Ya… I was looking for the 4x4, especially for the winters. The Kia was scary to drive in the winter… especially on the thruway when it was windy and you couldn’t see cause of alot of snow.
I was just reading on this Jeep Forum that I was looking at and they say that you shouldn’t drive in 4Hi down the thruway because going over 50-55mph in 4wd isn’t the safest thing to do and it wears on the drivetrain alot faster.
