Pricing is pretty independent of the car when it comes to Penskes. Obviously the exact mounting parts are different, but if anything a 'vette is easier/simpler than some other cars. The shocks I really want are the Penske 3-way adjustable Penskes. They are low and high speed compression (shock shaft speed, not vehicle speed of course) as well as rebound adjustable. Roughly low speed compression is sway/roll and high speed is bumps etc. Rebound really only occurs at one speed regardless (hence 3-ways not 4). They run about $4700 through a lot of distributors, though I could probably get them around $4k. They’re already threaded body shocks, so turning them into C/Os will take well under $1k (so hopefully under $5k total).
Anyway, the “track” is here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=reservation+road+%26+imjin+road,+marina,+ca&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=41.123882,79.101563&ie=UTF8&ll=36.673771,-121.761003&spn=0.005094,0.009656&t=h&z=16&om=0
It’s an inactive part of a still-active airport in Marina, CA.
