I just found this thread on a forum that the deer you assumedly hit visits quite frequently:

“Was walking home last night around 9pm, just minding my own business, chewing my cud, and about half a mile from my bedding area in East Greenbush. Anyway I go to cross the road and some rice rocket lunged out of the road from right in front of me, directly in my way. There was no reaction time. Probably the scariest moment of my life. I feel awful for that stupid car. It ran off, which is probably better than having to see it dead or dying, although it must be badly damaged. Funny thing is that I didn’t lose a drop of blood. Broke an antler pretty bad and bruised my left shoulder, but other than that, i’d say I made out pretty well.”

sry to hear megan… sucks to cause we just saw the car last weekend and it looked in great shape… hope insurance takes care of everything

Thanks, insurance is taking care of it. I actually just dropped the car off at the body shop this morning for her new hood, fender, headlight, aaaaaand BODY KIT (same one, of course). Sorry for those who are not a fan, but I like it, and think it looks pretty clean - http://www.cardomain.com/ride/724709
