did u check the wires with a multi-meter to make sure you were splicing into the correct ones? Ive seen write-ups were the wires actually differ depending on the harness. Check them, you might find that its wired incorrectly.

yes this is true … but with the obd0 its a lil diff with the box and such but boardjnky is right check w/ a multi … could be best to try and start all over with this step and try it once more
so did the pulling the fuse work?? for the gas issue??
