Hey guys, I know alot of you know a ton about VWs, or cars period. As you all know, I bought a 2003 GLI a few months ago. It is the model with the 24V VR6. I recently decided I was going to take off my plastic engine cover to do some cleaning and discovered a decent amount of oil underneath my spark plugs. What could this be??? The car has about 80k on it. I did not have my camera on me at the time but I have a pic here of a stock photo of a VR6 with arrows drawn to where the oil is sitting. What would cause this???
cracked valve cover? idk
fyi.i dont know anything about VW
valve cover gasket along with spark plug tube seals .not bad of a fix fairly common just get it fixed soon as it will break the rubber on the coils down and cause missfire codes and what not
sounds about right.
