i broke my lug nut key and yes i know it was going to break but i kept putting it off.
it has 8 edges like a star.
the picture was taken after it snapped so it doesn’t look straight.

8 pointed star is like 2 - 4 pointed squares, one overlapping the other right…
So that means if you know what size squre fits, go get yourself a square bar…and see if it works…
from the Pic I would guess its a 7/16, maybe even a 1/2 inch square between the flats
the bar would have to fit the leaverage bar that takes off the nut tho.
meaning both ends would have to be different and not the same.

put one end of the bar on the lug nut…the other end of the bar on an adjustable…a big one…

measure from one point to two points over from it, that will be the size of the square you would need… but keep it short cause it will probably twist off if your original hardened lug key did… maybe get stainless or something, but keep it short and like Matt said, use either an adjustable or a similarly corresponding socket on the other end of the sqare bar.

Go to a tire shop, it costs 10 bucks to remove the lugs.
but thy will sczhillzzzleee it off. lol thats wat ct does

Proper tire shops have locking lug removers, snap-on sells them.

he also tried shoving a 3/8s square in there and its perfect fit.
tightened the bolts up so i can go to a shop and take them all off and get new lugs.
one nut wouldnt come off even with a breaker bar trying to loosen it and it actually ended up bending the 3/8 socket. i guess its because for the whole winter i never touched the front tires so its rusted and shit.
but ya mikey, see if u can get it just incase if i need it, but the 3/8s worked great. ill update the thread tmw after i go to tires23.
