Should i mount 205/55/16 winter tires on a 8" rim? I think they are too small for the rim and defeats the purspose of using winter tires. The tires will be stretch causing less contact with the pavement and losing grip. What do you guys think? Will it make a big difference or not?
actually narrower tires are better in deep snow they will cut through it vs riding on top of the snow, i don’ think 205’s are a super noticeable stretch on an 8 haha i would be willign to say it makes no differeance
to me thats not super noticeable haha i ran 235’s on my 10" if i can’t see the lip of the rim its not stretched enough haha
not to mention my 205/60/15 g3’s oh a 6.5" look almost the same as above hehe

narrow tires. lose the 8s go with stockers 195’s ull be good
im using 195s on my 8 in wide rims. it is not a crazy stretch
