i have a i pod touch that i want to download the music off of and then upgrade as its 2 years old. but everytime i plug it in it wants to sync and delete the info on the ipod touch… what can i do to get the music and files off

So you want to take music from the old iPod and put it to the new one, but when you plug in the old one it wants to erase the music from it?

nevermind. found the program after downloading 4 of them that didnt do shit. basically i wanted to take the music from an ipod touch and put it on my hard drive. MEDIA WIDGET was the program that worked great !

ITunes is the fucking SUCK.

Put SharePod on both of them, and rid yourself of these DRM-related hangups.
