this is going to make you all wish that you lived in Rochester.
I am beginning the process of leasing a 2000 sq ft shop about 10 minutes southeast of my school. The shop is already loaded with a bathroom, shop sink, two air compressors, heating unit hooked up to a thermostat, large overhead door, and plenty of space.
I cant wait till i go to rpi, 2 lifts and any tools you want. I do wish i could this though so i didnt need to work supervisor hours to get my shop hours.
thanks. Hopefully it will be a on-going place for the community if I set it up right. meets, poker games, and other things like that to keep the car guys doing stuff and not just talking online.
Once I go back and get pics of the place I’ll toss them up and post links.
I think also since you are running a garage like that you should turn it into a US up garage. People can take their used performance parts of there and put them into a little shop and sell them
sorry, nothing will ever make me want to live in rochester again, even buffalo wild wings and the garbage plate. ill stick to visiting every once in a while when i miss mike.
if its in Henrietta the next time your coming home i want a cheese burger plate from Henrietta hotts right neer the new kost tire and down the street from dunn tire
UPGarage is a chain store in Japan that sells used performance parts at great prices. All they sell is used stuff. Wheels, seats coilovers, exhausted tons and tons of stuff and most of them have open bays where you can get that stuff installed or you can rent out the bays
Quite a few people renting are people I know and trust. Otherwise I would just have it open on the weekends and pay someone to be there keeping an eye on things… but that’s for V2.0 of this idea.
