I said I thought it could be done. So I decided to prove it

Can you do me a favor and click on the facebook group somewhere up above. I plan on keeping this going as long as possible and eventually getting a better facility/location.

I <3 this idea.

You could be on to something.

You need to setup a name and the franchise rights/rules.

absolutely. I have some ideas on how to develop it a bit farther too.

snapped some pictures today that I think are relatedā€¦

I was at the national guard unit for some training today and got to take a look at their new facility. In terms of a ā€œgarageā€ the place is just fantastic. Everything from the coating on the floors, the overhead retractable air/nitrogen/electric lines, the shelf organizationā€¦ Something that looks that clean

OK hereā€™s the update on the shop:

simply put, its been a disaster for the last two months. I only have 2 people renting for spots and 2 people renting the ā€œworkspaceā€ without the car storage. To make rent I need a minimum of 3 storage and 4 workspace. To make money I need 4 people into the storage side.

You have to take the good with the bad, and always look at the upside.

Consider this a place where you get to keep and work on your projects without being in a hurry and if others are there, then they just cut down on your cost.

If you look at it that way, you will be happy even if there is one person there, may not be the best business strategy, but the old rule is true, donā€™t expect a net profit until youā€™re a few years in, or a hooker.

I personally have to have more space, to the point that Iā€™m looking to buy a house just so I can have the proper room to fit everything. I almost donā€™t care what it costs me (within limit) as long as itā€™s setup properly and Iā€™d be very satisfied with a spot like yours.

Just keep your head up and fix the Subi.

I bought some more toys for the shop. Blasting cabinet and paint gun. Hopefully some incoming freshmen want a place to work on their cars during the winter. Iā€™m going around tomorrow to plaster the campus with fliers.

How big is the blasting cabinet?

Whatā€™s are the specs on your compressor? Is it sufficient?

as in media blasting cabinet? i could use of those on my wheels. id like to prep my 17s for powdercoating ^^

Oh sweet, a blasting cabinet. I can clean my suspension parts myself then, instead of paying someone to.
