I have a friend that bought a mosin as a first gun, had this WWII idea stuck in their head.
Shot it a few times and never touches it, because it’s not fun to shoot.
Unless you reload, it’s too expensive to learn to actually shoot properly on a center fire rifle.
Every shooter i know is moving to a .22lr. Because of ammo prices, and shear fun.
I have 10k in guns, and the stupid .22lr ( althoug more expensive than many peoples gun) gets all the people coming over and wanting to shoot it.
I say we do a NYSpeed day at the swamps and give the man a selection of toys to try out.
