carputer you are still going to need a broadband wireless connection, where service of such would suck balls depending on where you are…

probably not, but I also don’t have a 3G phone.
I noticed that Edge works great while stationary but if I’m riding shotgun and trying to browse the internet on the phone, it’s hit or miss a lot or times (even with full bars).
Much better than what you would get with a wireless broadband connection… although the functionality would be greatly increased with the computer… but at the higher cost and most likely less reliable, on road trips

thats assuming the iphone has a stereo out like the ipod touch I can’t imagine it not having this
