Sorry if you took it as a personal attack, I got a lil offended that you of all people would defend that moron. You and I both know it’s a rough business to be in, no one gets paid enough to deal with the BS we deal with on a daily basis. But, that’s the job. No one should forego common decency just because the pay is lousy and it’s not their vehicle. I don’t know how some can stay in business with the lawsuits they must face on a constant basis. Even if they are getting paid by commission, I know that they (the operators) wouldn’t want their car treated like that. The company should do the right thing by compensating for the damages.
Trust me, other states make a killing compared to NY operators. We went out for a customer’s semi that was involved in a wreck in Pa (he was pulled off on the shoulder, two other trucks wrecked next to him) and the company that exit towed the truck 400 FEET charged us $7000!!!
There is just no excuse for what the jackass in the video did.
