No, it’s the car. The first time I raced him in the vette we both kicked out the rear ends in the same direction shifting into 2nd. Granted it was a chilly night, it is def. not hard to get them sideways unintentionally.
On another note, I think the plate is funny and will be true in most instances. My only worry would be leaving the car unattended for a lenghty period of time for fear of some ricebag gouging out my paint…or stealing the plate…
ive been in RWD turbo cars with 500 more hp than yours and it went straight and hooked alright, i still dont see the issue… big red makes almost 500whp and he doesnt blow it sideways, quit side stepping the clutch, and quit jerking the wheel.
also stop messing with the rice rockets. they see the plate,they react, then you react to their reaction. then they laugh at you… thats how it works. in the end you look like a tool.

yeah you dont need to preach to me. but being like my car burns 4th whoaaaaaa is kind of dumb, especially when its easy to fit big, sticky tires on a car like that… id love to fit a 245 or 255 section width tire without rubbing, but it wont happen unless i raise my car up about 2 inches

what is this going sideways in 4th gear bullshit? when Im WOT, I dont even see 4th until 115…theirs no blowing sideways at those speeds…its only 1st and 2nd. 3rd spins a little early in gear but it stays straight…

also, I do not have my car set up for drag racing. If I was going strictly for drag racing I wouldnt have lowered my car, went with the shocks I went with, my rim/tire choice, hell even my sway bars…Im trying to make it a good handling car and when it needs to go fast, it can get the job done.
Before my SS, I test drove a 30th ann. Z28 (LT1) it was auto…and a 99 z28 that was also auto…both went sideways at low speeds.

ive driven a 98 longtube/tuned 6 speed LS1. ive driven a bolt on + cam 6speed LT1.
the LS1 car made 350whp, had handling springs, cheap 275s all around, and a clutch and it didnt blow sideways in an uncontrollable manner, unless side stepping the clutch. if provoked yes it would step out, but not just flooring it in 2nd.
