unfortunatly for some really gay reason my insurance company will not insure my car because it has a “apexi intake” on the vehicle, and even if i switch it back to stock they will not insure it. they made me get an appraisal for the car and he noted the intake on it, and now the insurance company dropped this vehicle.
i will sell or trade the vehicle or may keep it if i find insurance at another company. but the appraisal was done for insurance purpose and he appraised it a $7000. the reason it was low was because it needed minor body work on the rear quarters. one has small dent about the size of tennis ball, but barely dented in. the other side has a paint spiderweb from and impact, but no dent.
so to make my life easier i would perfer a trade for s14 or a clean s13 with sr, or even any jdm car that is 100% factory lol.

ya, its definitly the most smooth car ive driven, i couldnt say no after i drove it lol. but my insurance company is gay. im gunna have to look for a different company and if i dont this is my backup plan. dont wanna have to bust out the 240 to drive in the winter, or do i?.. lol
nice! lol GLWS!
and also if your looking for insurance from the major companies and u cant get it, go to a broker, they will almost always insure you, and if not still look up high risk brokers, they usually deal with extremely bad drivers and charge out the ass, but they also cover highly modified cars (yah i realize its only an intake… but still LOL) at a very decent rate.
usually from what i’ve read, to do a conversion, you need the same front end of a similar car (ie- silvia to convert a 240sx) and it is a complete pain in the ass. you need to drill out all the spot welds in both firewalls, weld the rhd, or in this case, LHD one in. possibly swap out the steering linkage, etc, etc, all in all, from what i’ve read, it takes about 40-60 hours to do.
haha wow definately a steal at 6500… as for the insurrance i insure my skyline with tailored insurrance, a brokerage who deals with wawanesa. They had no problem doing it, and at a steal of a rate.
good luck with the sale
