i'd like to see...

he hasnt said anything in a while, Give it up

his ass than?

i just want to see it run at least once haha.

it’s not a 47r. he has some crazy ass T6 based shit. i talked with him about it a little bit when i was helping him with an intercooler pipe he needed so he could get the car tuned, which i guess was supposed to happen monday. i guess only one other person in the country has that large of a turbo on a supra. either way, it’s a pretty insane setup.

:eek3:

Fuck him, and his supra…

-j

thats not a very pittspeed like thing to say now is it?! :nono: haha

fuck u frank buy my hatch 250 come get it…lol

no matter what you have its gonna break,
at least if u driving it “correctly”

correctly is the key word.

i dont know who he is but i saw the car, i saw the turbo, it was bigger than my head. 6 inch turbo inlet and 5 inch turbo back exhaust, i dont care if he did the work or not, he knows sum shit about cars, he built a sick car that any of you would drive, and it isnt just for track, the car looks sweet too

I talked to mark today he said JP is using the GT47R-88 T6 based turbo. some big names in the supra world run it like peter blach, paul effantis’s wife, ryan woon, etc

turbo should be good for well over 1000whp. probably closer to 1200whp

no FUCK YOU! And you wonder why i havent posted shit lately, but i think you would like to know that the car did break 1000rwhp today.

1038rwhp@ 34psi with 5 miles on the motor… it will make 1200rwhp on VP import and more miles.

Peace.

dude not to be a dick but VP import is oxygenated and isn’t allowed in most sanctioning bodies so I would avoid it. tune it on C16 and be done.

post a chart I want to see how high you have to rev it to get to 34psi

edit: also you couldn’t get into 10’s with 800whp what makes you think you can drive it now with over 1000whp?

dyno queen? perhaps he is just looking for that dyno number? its definitely pretty sick

jealousy sucks

ok first off, i have never driven the car down the track at 800rwhp. period most boost on the 71 was 22psi… which was probably if at all 600rwhp. And last time at the track on the 77 15psi… which is probably around the same power, which resulted in about the same time/trap. So dont give me that shit.

And I love how you guys can talk about how easy it is to drive 800hp this and 1000hp that… and why I cant drive it. Seriously how many people are on here have tried launching a unsupercharged or torque monster … with 700hp ??? there are only a rare few on this board that can attest to that…

full boost on this turbo is 6200rpm and peak power around 8200. As far as the VP import it is tuned on c16 as of right now. I dont know the rules as far as the NHRA and that but i think its fine to use. The reason why i have to use that is timing/rev. With this turbo i have to rev the car much higher than a “normal” turbo which causes the turbo to knock with increasing timing sooo… you run the import lower knock and run a more conservite timing.

ohh without a doubt it is sick but I remember awhile back he said he was talking to pewter about rules for sanctioning bodies and VP import is definatly illegal in the NHRA last I checked

most people dont buy racing cages and parachutes to go on the dyno :dunno:

dont get me wrong. this car is definetly gearing towards the 1320 but, Im not stupid. im definetly not going to the track pumpin out 1000rwhp and realeasin the chute at the end first time down the track. Im 19, which even with the age, its goign to result in slim experience thats why you break and you learn. So you dont/try to break it again and move on… its one big process if you dont break anything you never learn.

definatly the most intelligent thing you have ever posted: I know a bunch of us are goin to Norwalk in october for the NDRA I hope you have the bugs worked out by then.

here is the NHRA fuels list:

http://www.nhrasportcompact.com/2004/rules/fuels.html

as you can see NO VP import

definitely should be interesting wathcing you hook up! do you have any video of the dyno pulls?
