i'd like to see...

… I would definetly would like to go, i got a few things to work on before i head to the track. Id like to put atleast 500 miles on the car before i take it to the track.

I will look into the fuel… Import is pretty new. And that Hyperlink is 2004, so maybe its not listed… ill look into it like i said, but ill be running c16 for now… the car needs completly retuned for import if i decided to go with it.

yeah i do but, im not on the right computer to upload. The car is sooo loud its nuts… so the sound will probably be muffled. Traction really isnt going to be a problem i reach peak power torque way past the natural torque point of the motor so i wont loost traction through a gear… its going to be right before i shift, when i hit that full boost

Oh yeah c23 is on there … man thats close enough to the VP import. I just think that list isnt updated.

yeah I mean there are plenty of non-oxygenated fuels out there to make the power. people just protest because the oxy fuels will give you more power.

here is what I took from the NDRA updated rule book just now:

4.32> Fuels: Fuels used in all classes must be exactly as delivered
from the manufacturer as outlined below. NDRA has adopted
following fuels as the Official Approved Fuels list.
APPROVED GASOLINE’S:
Phillips/Trick: B-35 (Unleaded), B-32, B-33, B-38
Sunoco: Standard, Supreme, Maximal, Supreme
Torco: Mach 104, 110, 112, 114, 116, 116NOS,
118NOS
76: Competition 100 (Unleaded), Competition 110,
Stock 114, Pro Stock 118, Pro Stock+
VP: C10 (Unleaded), C-11, C-12, C-14, C-14 +,
19, C-23, C-25, C-56
Pump gasoline’s are Oxygenated fuels and may be allowed
only if they pass the DC tests on NDRA fuel check equipment.
highly recommended that you have your fuel checked by NDRA
staff prior to competing. NDRA decision is final.

If you ever have a question about NDRA or NHRA rules just let me know. next time you see jay at hybrid ask him who knows everything their is to know about those rule books

makes sense i guess. what are you using to get it out of the hole?

well it will suck for street driving and on the shift it will definatly fall out of boost but set the 2 step and get it on the track

Guess you got the car up and running. Congrats it sounds awesome, i would love to see that thing run

Yea really. How many supras do u see rolling around with 1000hp, letalone supras at all?? Anyways props for having a nice ride. :naughty:

Has anyone actually talked to kurt brown about his DSM. It is really a Road race car posing as a drag car. Hell i would do the same thing to if i could drag race like him and my car ran 10.40s. If he can learn how to drive(turning, striaght line he is awesome) he could be the first car with fenders to break the 1 min mark at beaverun. Assuming Kent rafferty doesnt get his supra done first.

curts car runs 10.2’s and yes the car was built for road racing

u do anything to the supension yet???

so its up and running maybe we will get to see this thing run at the track soon. ive followed all the b.s. on here about it forever im glad to see it break 1.000hp. now lets see what kind of times it goes. another reason i said id like to see kurts evo vs. this thing is because it is a road car and from what i hear very streetable. we saw him going to the track at the last sport compact nite and i wouldnt have thought for a second that thing went 10’s. anyone know how his car did out at that big evo race thing this past weekend?

curt hasn’t had a dsm for 2 years his old motor went into a galant vr4 sometimes seen at keystone in the 11’s last i heard. his evo threw a rod at the shootout yesterday put a hole in the front and rear of the block you could put your fist through

the galant went 10.02@140mph

and nate from sbr is pulling supra times with 10.70@142

did they run the RWD car?

no

Hope so.

JP, you should make it out to the flashlights or something. I’m sure it would be a crowd favorite

Also, do you know anyone in Prospect? It was either you or someone with a car identical to yours visiting someone near my work.

19 years old and 1,200whp. Hmmm… very interesting.

Im not giong to take the car to the flashlight drags, not worth the time and chance of something breaking.

I know most of the supras in the area and to my knowledge there isnt any in prospect.
