If an engine uses oil, can you change it less often?

Normal civics do? Or just the riced out shit boxes I see and wish I had a hand full of old piston rings to hand them at stop lights? :rofl

MY thought process was when oil burns it leaves behind contaminate, like carbon and shit and if you keep burning the quart and adding new oil but never changing after a while thats how you get that disgusting sludgy shit that blocks off all of the passages and ruins the motor.

I know the 1uz-fes are notorius for sludging up and killing themselves.

Finding a d seies that doesnt burn oil is rare

fill a glass up with water and put dye it some color, then let a tiny bit poor out while u pour new clear water in at the same rate

sooner or later that water is gonna be clear again

What are you getting at?

Because in a car you are still building up shit in the filter whether you put more oil in or not.

i thought i already posted above that you should totally change the filter

maybe i didnt

but the oil isn’t pouring out its being broken down and burned. Its more like boil the water in the glass and pour more in. You’re going to end up with a lot of minerals burned into the glass and colored water still

good point, not perfect but good enough
